Work must have first aired/launched between:
Tuesday, March 12, 2024 - Tuesday, March 4th, 2025

An airing is defined as a commercial release, commissioned by a client, for television, theater, the Internet, mobile phone, or any other medium/screen able to deliver motion picture imagery.
AICP Awards Important Dates

  • Entry Deadline: Wednesday, February 26th, 2025 at 11:59pm U.S. Pacific Time (PT)
  • Late Entry Deadline: Wednesday, March 5th, 2025 at 11:59pm U.S. Pacific Time (PT)
  • Shortlist Announced: April 2025
  • AICP Week (Winners Announced) - Tuesday, June 3rd - Thursday, June 5th, 2025 in New York.
Eligibility Information

  • Work produced and aired anywhere in the world can be entered into the AICP Awards.
  • The work entered must be exactly as aired with the exception of Next Awards categories where case studies may be submitted.
  • Work in a language other than English must be subtitled in English. This is to the entrant's benefit.
  • Entries and Supporting Materials MUST be submitted clean of any credits (ex. Directed Ny Credits, End Credits).
AICP Next Awards
  • There are no running time limits for entries in the AICP Next Awards.
  • Case studies (in place of the piece as aired) can be entered into the following categories:
    • Branded Content & Entertainment: Standalone/Single Execution
    • Branded Content & Entertainment: Series/Episodic- (One full episode must be entered but a case study can be submitted as well).
    • Creative Commerce
    • Creative Data
    • Digital Experiences
    • Experiential
    • Influencer
    • Innovation
    • Integrated Campaign
    • Public Relations
    • Purpose Driven
    • Real Time Engagement
    • Social
  • The case study that is entered will be the one that is judged.

    • If the work is honored, the case study that is entered will be publicly available on AICP Awards Archive Site and will be archived in The Museum of Modern Art's Department of Film Archive.
  • Case studies cannot be replaced after judging. There will be no exceptions.
AICP Post Awards
  • Editor's and director's cuts are not eligible. Entries must be entered exactly as aired.
  • There are specified time limits for certain categories in the AICP Post Awards. Your entry must meet the running time requirement for its category, or it will be disqualified. These categories are:
    • Audio Mix :60 & Under - Under 1:00 Running Time
    • Audio Mix Over :60 - Over 1:00 Running Time
    • Sound Design :60 & Under - 1:00 Running Time and Under
    • Sound Design Over :60 - Over 1:00 Running Time
    • Color Grading Under :60 - Under 1:00 Running Time
    • Color Grading :60 to :90 - Between 1:00 to 1:30 Running Time
    • Color Grading Over :90 - Over 1:30 Running Time
    • Editorial :30 - Must be exactly 30 seconds
    • Editorial :60 - Must be exactly 60 seconds
  • Case studies cannot be entered into the AICP Post Awards.
AICP Show: The Art & Technique of the Commercial
  • Case studies cannot be entered into the AICP Show.
  • There are no running time limits for entries in the AICP Show.
Supporting Materials

Supporting Materials must not include any credits or the names of the individuals or facilities that created the work.

Supporting Materials are optional and not required.
Supporting Material Types
  • "Making Of" Video - Not to exceed 2 minutes.
  • CGI Breakdown Video - Not to exceed 2 minutes.
  • Written Explanation - Not to exceed 300 words. Submit your written explanation on the entry page. Write the description in advance and copy and paste it into the text box on the entry form.
  • Script or Boards - PDF versions.
Categories Accepting Supporting Materials:
  • AICP Post Awards
    • CGI - "Making Of" Video or CGI Breakdown Video, and/or Written Explanation.
    • Character Design - "Making Of" Video or CGI Breakdown Video, and/or Written Explanation.
    • Compositing - "Making Of" Video or CGI Breakdown Video, and/or Written Explanation.
    • Motion Graphics & Design - "Making Of" Video or CGI Breakdown Video, and/or Written Explanation.


  • AICP Show
    • Animation - "Making Of" video.
    • Concept - Scripts or Boards.
    • Design - "Making Of" video.
    • Production Design - "Making Of" Video or Written Explanation.
    • Visual Effects - "Making Of" video.


    In light of the stark contrast between the AICP Awards' mission to recognize a global community of respect and inclusion and Russia's isolationist geopolitical actions, AICP will not be accepting entries from any Russian entities or done on behalf of Russian brands for consideration in the 2025 editions of the three AICP competitions.
